Check out Modern Food & Spirits located at 1535 Cass Lake Road, Keego Harbor, MI 48320 US.
The restaurant boasts of its wide variety of American, Contemporary and Eclectic Cuisines and its affordable price of $0–$14. It also has a Kid Friendly, Fun Atmosphere, Non-smoking Features, Casual Attire Hours and No Required Reservations! Modern Food & Spirits is open at these days and hours: Monday-Thursday 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday-Saturday 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Sunday 4-9 p.m. We accept Mastercard, Discover, Visa, American Express Modern Food & Spirits' simple, retro-styled room seats 100 in its L-shaped space and the staff in casual dress is friendly in typical small-town-America fashion - and they also know the menu that offers fresh, seasonal fare. It starts off with some interesting appetizers, notably shiitake mushroom crepes in a subtle Gruyere sauce, smoked salmon with sesame crackers and citrus aioli, and cold, spicy Thai noodles with asparagus and spinach in sesame ginger vinaigrette. Any one of the four salad choices, including bundles of romaine hearts encased in egg roll wrappers and served with a creamy dipping sauce of shallots and herbs, house mixed greens, spinach or Bibb in vinaigrette, may be had with dinner entrees. The even dozen entrees range from sauteed fresh monkfish Mediterranean style with roasted tomatoes, garlic, tart kalamata olives, bits of feta cheese atop a mound of couscous, and pan-roasted chicken breast with portobello mushrooms and Great Northern bean ragout. The ratio of quality to price is outstanding. Many of the same dishes are offered at lunch, with a little more emphasis on sandwiches and salads. What a nice, unpretentious addition to the local dining scene. Group Stats
